We were the couple in the antique looking power cruiser docked across from you and the big sailboat this past weekend. I have now, via Accidental Sailor Girl site of Kourtney’s, found your site and read about your latest leak. I am an antique boater…most experience being in wood…but lots of experience behind me. If you can see that leak or seep or whatever….you might try gooping it up big time on the inside with white boatlife, even making a sort of cover for the pile of goop out of tin foil or tiles or some such just to hold it a while ….it will set up well when wet…indeed as you doubtless know it won’t set at all unless it is wet. Worth a try? You also seem to know Chris and Bill (?) from Queen’s creek in Mathews va….they are right up the creek from my covered slip and we see each other all the time…smallish world.

Nice photos. I’d love to get more into photography, but just don’t have the funds to get a better camera. Using a combo of an old iPhone 5c and an old Nikon point and shoot now. What kind of camera are you using?
Julia and Emily, is not the camera makes good photos is the artist behind the camera. Is search well all photographers are problems solving and creativity kicks in.
Was your first boat a Pearson Ariel? I had one of those, once upon a time. I wouldn’t mind another one, as it would be perfect here on the Central Florida Gulf coast.
Sohund is beautiful, and I’m really enjoying reading your sailing blog. I found you thru Sam Holmes’ YouTube channel.
Appreciating the commitment you put into your blog and detailed information you present. It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same old rehashed material. Excellent read! I’ve saved your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
Great photos. The last makes me want to go camping. As much as you love the sea, I love camping!!!
